Q: Image in "drop image" does not show up in FCP.
I am lost. I am simply opening a copy of the "push" template from FCP in Motion. I add an image in Motion where it says drop image. It plays great in Motion and if I export a move the image is there. But in FCP the image is not there. Only black. What am I doing wrong. Pulling my hair out. Hint that might help. The thumbnail in FCP shows the image at the very beginning but if I skim the thumbnail it is not and if I drag it to the timeline the image is not there. Please help.
Thanks.

If the drop zone-looking background says Title Source, then that's not really a drop zone. That's a placeholder for the storyline media (technically, with a title, it's everything below the level of the Title object... but that's a bit of nitpicking).
If you want to add a logo, try adding your logo directly within the Motion project above the Title source sized as positioned as you want it. You might also publish the Position, Rotation and Opacity parameters for the logo so you can animate it in FCPX in custom ways without having to go back into Motion every time you want to make changes.
