Q: How,can,I,install,Logic,Studio,8,on,my,Mac,with,OS,X,version,10.9.5

Hello all,

 

I am new here and I am hoping someone can assist me with my problem. I am trying to install Logic Studio 8 for my small home studio, on my Mac processor 3.2 GHz intel Core i3 with 12GB- 1333MHZ DDR3.Running on OS X Version 10.9.5

It is the first time installing, I have bought it awhile ago and never used it. I can not afford the latest one.

 

The message says "Power PC Applications are no longer supported".

    It is very outdated, and the installer won't run on the newer OS X versions.

    Logic Studio was very expensive compared to the modern and WAY better Logic Pro X.

    But to answer your question, you'd have to down-grade to an earlier OS X version to use it.  Logic Studio ended with version 9.  Version 8 is pretty ancient.  That's like asking why a Ford Model T can't be repaired by your local Rapid Lube shop.
