Q: Midi over Remote Desktop

I have a Mac Pro 5.1 that is controlled by a MacBook Pro retina over Remote Desktop. Can i connect a midi device on my MacBook and control the Mac Pro?

MacBook Pro, iOS 9.3.5

unless RDC allows the midi data to pass through the connection and the software on the other end is not looking for a local midi device my guess it no. Still it's a guess and I never tired it so there's only one real way to find out.

    Hi NilsPils,

    - If I understand the question correctly, you should be able to continue to connect to the Mac Pro over Remote Desktop while a midi device is connected to your MackBook Pro.

    - The midi device will be accessible via the Mack Book Pro only.
