Run BC Assistant, without any external devices connected, point to the location where the ISO is located and then follow prompts. Do not connect any external storage, till after Windows is fully installed.

You may still run into an issue because of the two separate disks. Please make sure you have backups of OS X.

BC Assistant still keeps asking for a usb drive or say none can be found.

Lets us verify your Mac year/model. Please go to About This Mac and post a screen shot (without your serial number). You can also just post the output from the following Terminal command after you remove the serial number.

    system_profiler SPHardwareDataType

This model should not ask you for a USB for installation. Please run the following two procedures with all external storage disconnected.

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Can you post the sequence of screen shots when running BC Assistant?

Do you see a screen similar to the following?

    bootcamp_assistant_create_bootable_usb_drive.JPG

If you click on the Action Menu and select Download Software, then you need a USB as shown.

What is the brand/type of the USB Flash drive? If there is bug in the firmware, please try the SMC/NVRAM resets and ue a different 8-16 GB USB2 flash drive, if possible.

In Application -> Utilities -> Console logs, check for any disk-related errors.

Assuming it is a SanDisk, please run the two resets. Insert the USB, only if BCA prompts.
