Q: How do I import photos into iBooks Author?

My Media Browser in iBooks Author only shows Photo Booth as a source library.  I suspect iBooks Author was written for iPhoto, not Photos.  Can anyone answer how I can import photos from my Photos library?

I see that you are wanting to know how to import photos to iBooks Author. The following article provides information unjust how to do that. iBooks Author: Add and edit photos and other images

    Hi chris_g1,

Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately the article does not solve my question, in fact when I open Photos and try to drag a photo into a new iBook page, nothing happens.  I can export the photos I need from Photos to a Finder folder, then drag and drop from there, but it looks to me like Apple haven't kept iBooks Author and their Photos app in sync.  iMovie will allow you to import photos into a movie from its Media Browser, but iBooks Author does not.  Strange!
