Q: Pre-order on Apple Store with an AT&T Next already

Blessings, family, I just want to know something and I didn't find any information about this on Internet.

 

I actually have an AT&T Next with an iPhone 6 Plus, I usually when I want to buy another iPhone, I wailt until is on stock and order through AT&T online. There I can select the new iPhone and then make the taxt payments, after that, I just have to wait until that iPhone get home to pay all the AT&T Next payments that left on my account.

 

My question is: I want to make my first pre-order through Apple Store, I can do it without problems and will be the same as AT&T online?

 

I mean: I can pre-order the iPhone 7 and I just have to pay the tax of the phone and then when get home I can pay the rest of the AT&T Next payments that I have or with Apple Store you can't make a pre-order with an already AT&T Next plan?

 

I would like someone can answer me this. Blessings.

    I would not think that you could do that.

     

    Contact AT&T or Apple and ask them.

    I already contacted AT&T and they said me that I can. Then I contacted Apple and then they said me I can't. Then I called again to Apple and other person said me yes. That's why I'm making the thread. I want to anyone that did it or try to do it can answer me.

    First, Apple has not announced any product called an iPhone 7.  Available iPhones are the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S+.  The Terms of Use of these communities forbid us from speculating about what Apple may or may not do in the future.

    Apple Support Communities Use Agreement

     

    You may order an iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S+ through the Apple Store and use AT&T Next to pay.

     

    Here is an example (for a 64GB iPhone 6S in the U.S.):

    Since you said " ... when I get home ...", here is a major caution:

     

    Do not buy an iPhone in the U.S. unless you plan to use it there.  If "get home" means you are thinking of taking it to a different country, do not do that.  You will have no warranty, and the Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Centers will not service your iPhone, and you may not be able to use it with your carrier.  And, of course, you would have to maintain an AT&T service contract.
