Q: bootcamp freezes during windows 7 install

Sep 3, 2016 5:03 PMby GTwiss,Yes Im using a physical DVD. Tried a USB after DVD failed. Only other drive connected is the flash drive that bootcamp loads windows drivers to.
As per usual the dvd drive on the iMac doesn't work so I'm using a soniq external dvd drive connected through usb... There is two connections on the back of dvd. One mini usb to usb and one power to usb. its seems to work regardless of what is plugged in (one or both). Could this be an issue?
