Q: download all songs at one time

I have 3,400+ on my phone in Apple Music and just got an iMac. I want download all the songs in iTunes to the hard drive. Do I have to download each song or album individually or is there a one click solution to just download them all at one time?

Better would be to transfer them from the old computer to the new one. That way you would keep playlists, ratings, etc.

Download all songs from Match [iCloud] at once  - https://discussions.apple.com/message/18223535#18223535

    "Select Music.

    Select Tunes Store.

    Select Purchased on right side.

    Select Not in My Library.

Click Download All at lower right."

Apple's 6 page, exhaustingly meticulous step-by-step instructions: How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - https://support.apple.com/HT204318  It is handy if you suspect any of your media are not in the standard location.

My one-sentence summary if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its sub-folders and files) intact to the other drive, hold down the option/alt key (shift on Windows) while starting iTunes, and when requested to select a library select the iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder (Open a different iTunes Library file or create a new one - https://support.apple.com/HT201596).

Th post from ChrisCA is probably my solution. You said to transfer them from an old computer but that doesn't apply. These songs are on my iPhone and are from my Apple Music subscription, it's those songs that I want to download to the iMac.
