But it is still says it is linked to an apple id I*****@yahoo.com. i have tried my apple id that i used to link my iPhone together with my iMac and iPad, it doesn't work. it was given to me as a gift and it was bought brand new and unlocked already. -

You may have to get from the gifter proof of original purchase.

You may have to contact the person(s) who gave it to you as a gift, and have them go into an Apple Store (with proof of purchase) to have it unlocked.
