Q: installed el capitan and the key board does not work with windows 7 in boot camp

was a solution ever found, i have same issue in windows 8, after updating mac to El Capitan, tried resetting VRAM, re downloading boot camp drivers and reinstalling , tried removing keyboard from devices list, which it fails to do  , nothing has worked. wired apple keyboard working.

I have El Capitan, up to date, I dual boot into windows 7, I have the Apple Standard wireless no num keys. Worked fine Friday, today, nothing. I made no changes from then till now, I already tried re-downloading and installing bootcamp drives, no luck.   Any idea iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), Dual boot windows 7

Seems the simplest solution is the one I did not try. I simply removed keyboard from windows and re-paired it, fixed.

I had the same problem, but installed a Bluetooth update by Apple for Windows. Bluetooth keyboard works fine again.
