If you bought the product in the U.S. directly from Apple (not from a reseller), you have 14 days from the date of delivery in which to exchange or return it for a refund. In other countries, the return policy may be different. If you bought from a reseller, its return policy applies.

I was googling around and unfortunately this seems to be the hardware issue and only replacement the entire Retina display will do the fix. The entire display is "glued" together and not replaceable. I have seen some crazy stuff on the net people trying to warm it up untill it falls apart into pieces. Good luck.
