Q: Why wont my phone charge properly?

I try charnging my iPhone 5, and I have to blow into the connector and twist the cord around my phone so it can sit there and charge, if I move it in the slightest it wont charge. My phone vibrates non stop through this process, and it is extemely annoying. Do I have to bring it to an apple store?

iPhone 5, iOS 6, iTunes(Latest Version,64bitversion)

Tried cleaning out and lint or debrie that might be in the charging port.... Try using a paper clip to do so

While this thread was started over 3 years ago, I would hope the OP would have fixed their problem.

As far as your recommendation, the use of a metal paperclip is not a good idea, since it could short across tabs in the charging port and disable/destroy the phone. The use of a wooden toothpick or other small wooden utensil is the recommended action.
