Q: subscribed calendars won't sync to desktop

I have two calendars I subscribed to on my iphone, but they don't sync or show up on my other devices. On my phone they show up under "subscribed calendars" but they don't appear anywhere on any of my desktop calendars. Any help appreciated.

    John,

Use iCloud calendar subscriptions - Apple Support may help determine why this is happening to you.

Thanks that help, but doesn't necessarily provide a solution.  One of the calendars was subscribed to through a through a third-party iphone app (TeamApp), so I subscribed on the phone, which according to this:

"If you subscribe to the calendar on your iOS device, iCloud won't update it to your other devices"

means it won't ever show up on my desktop, which is pretty annoying.

The other one was subscribed to through a message link, again, on my phone.  I suppose this one I could unsubscribe then find the message a resubscribe from my desktop, but again, that is pretty annoying Apple.

But thanks for providing me an answer as to why Ferd II.
