Q: New iPad Air 2 has unreliable wifi connectivity
A few days ago, I fired up a new iPad. Yesterday, while accessing the Web, I got a message that the machine was not connected to the internet, so I went to Settings, and clicked on my network. My password was requested; immediately after entering it, a pop-up asked for my password, which I dutifully entered, to be again confronted with a password request. I searched the Web for wifi discussions, and then tried some of the suggestions.
1) I removed power from my router then powered it on again - still got repeated password pop-ups.
2) In Settings I disabled wifi, turned it back on, then selected "Other." I entered my network name and password. A pop-up informed me that I had entered an invalid password. (Of course, I tried this several times.)
3) I powered the iPad off and then on, with the same repeated pop-ups.
THis morning, I successfully connected to wifi, but an hour later the connection was dropped. I have a first generation iPad (iOS 5.1.1), which has always been rock solid with wifi. Any suggestions for anything else to try? Is it time to go to the Apple store? Is it time to request a replacement?

Try resetting network settings in Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.
The iPad will restart itself.
Then try connecting to your wifi again. It will request your password again.
