Q: Apple wireless keyboard A1255 issues
Hi, I recently bought a used A1255 with batteries stuck in. I managed to get them out using vinegar. At first it will switch on and never pair nor switch off using the power button. After a few days it started pairing. I suspect the problem was caused by was the power on button that was always connected by the vinegar that got in.
Now that I could pair the keyboard, the enter key do write enter and type '/', the y and shift keys doe display 'Y'. Space bar does write ' ]', with a space in front. Anyway, hope you understand the issue, the other keys do work pretty much fine.
The bluetooth card being next to the power button, I believe it was also sucked into vinegar. I try to clean the inside of the keys that were misbehaving and the bluetooth card with ethanol and that fixed the keyboard pretty well. The same night I tried again the keyboard, everything was fine except one key that started to misbehave. The next day, all the key previously fixed got faulty again.
I have checked the input language it's UK (it's a uk layout keyboard). I really don't have a clue what it could be but still think that it's the keyboard that has an issue. Haven't been able to test it on another device, it won't pair to an android device for some reason.
Hope I could find how to fix it
