Q: When I restored my new iphone I lost all my very important notes??
I recently bought an iphone 6 to replace my iphone 4 where I used my notes religiously. It was a couple of weeks of noting on the new phone before i decided to plug it into my laptop and restore all my old things from my iphone 4 onto it too but now I have lost all those brand new notes!
What I'd desperately like to know is how to get to the section within my laptop that lists all the information and media (I lost all my photos too!!) from my previous phone and also the brand new one before I restored it and everything was gone?
Also how to sync notes with my laptop so that I'll never have this problem again??

The way to avoid this problem in the future would be to restore your old iOS' backup to your new iOS device as soon as you purchase a new (replacement) device and set it up.

Once you restore an old backup, all material that was on the iPhone is replaced with the backup material. You never backed up the notes you made on the iPhone before doing this restore, so they are gone.
A better way to sync Notes with your laptop may well be to keep the notes in iCloud. Then you could always access the current notes from either your iPhone or laptop.
