Q: Macbook Pro (mid-2012) running slow and beachballing since security update (EtreCheck report)

Running very slow and beachballing everytime I try to execute anything. This started immediately after downloading security update for El Capitan. Computer usless right now. Frustrating!

    Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility and select First Aid. Restart and test.

    Thanks Eric but this did not solve the problem. Beach balling consistently when Scrolling and typing. Also takes forever to load websites. The trackpad also seems to not work as well as before the update. I ran another EtreCheck just in case)
