Q: contacts

Having been updated till version 10.11.06 on my Mac, I suddenly am confronted with the anomaly that when I have sent an e-mail, this e-mail in my 'sent' emails shows in 'To' a false name, namely of a person who happens to have  the same family name as my addressee  has. Checking my 'Contacts' I notice that all of a sudden all these persons  with the same family name (but who are not family at all!) show on their pages the other names as well under 'email'.

This is agonizing. Please stop your dear programmers to invent 'services' the clients did not ask for and undo this programming mistake the soonest possible.

Let's check this "Contacts" very carefully.

First of all, I assume you are talking about the "Contacts" application.  (If not, please correct me.)  Open the Contacts application and use the menu to do View > Show Groups.  Please explain exactly which groups contain these mysterious additions.

My guess is you have imported contacts from some other source (e.g., Facebook) and are seeing these intermingled with your meaningful contacts.

The "dear programmers" in fact did not "invent services."
