Q: Unable to reset security questions

i have no idea if im posting this in the right place but anyways, i wanna reset my security questions since i cant remeber them, and theres an option to send them to an ipod i used to make the ID, but when I choose to send the security code nothing pops up on my ipod. Its a 4th gen ipod running on ios 6.1.6. Is it just too old? and is there a way around this? Ive been trying to reset the questions for about 5 yrs now.

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.6

I Tried that too but it asks for security questions as well, everything I try is asking me for them but I don't know them

I would recommend using Two-factor authentication for your Apple Id if you forgot your security questions. Two-factor authentication is a new security feature built right in to iOS 9. Here’s how it works: Two-factor Authentication for Apple Id - Apple Support
