Sep 6, 2016 3:46 AM in response to Roger Wilmut1by svs95,Sorry, but no. That Google Play app is for phones only. It will not install on Android tablets!
I know there's a way to side load it, but come on! Apple of all companies shouldn't expect people to bypass the official app store applicable to their OS! Apple devices aren't allowed to do that, so why would Apple expect Android users to do it?
The Apple Music team needs to get a legit installer for tablets in the Google Play store. What could possibly be keeping them from it, aside from wanting to annoy their customers?

Sep 6, 2016 3:59 AM in response to svs95by Roger Wilmut1,It does seem an odd decision, given that most phone apps on both platforms will install on tablets (even if they don't work as well).

Sep 6, 2016 4:05 AM in response to Roger Wilmut1by svs95,TBH, I did the side load, and it works like a champ. Except you can't update it when new versions come out, unless some mook puts it on their iffy pirate website as an update .apk, so you see the problems inherent in making us go that route?! :-O
