Q: Using page number / page count in formulas

Hi.

I'm seeking for a solution, that I can display a value/text in a cell (If…then…), e.g. when the page count is higher then 1.

Unfortunately 'Numbers' (3.6.2) couldn't handle the page number or page count information directly as a reference in formulas in other cells. The error message is: "The formula contains a page number or page count, which aren’t allowed in formulas."

Hi Juland,

How does your page count grow? If it is a single table that is getting too large you could use ROW() to count the rows and give your warning when you pass a certain number. If it is multiple tables you could add row counts for all of them. If you want to provide specific info on you set up we can find a specific solution.
