Sep 6, 2016 8:54 AM in response to Colin2508by lllaass,You just download the installer. It goes to the Application folder. To actually install you would have to click on the installer. However. it would not even install on your newer Mac.

Every thing worked perfect, but when I want to install OS X from my USB to my old Macbook comes this new Problem:
"This copy of the Install OS X Mavericks application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading"

I made it!
I changed the date in the Terminal to today, and it worked!
My Mac works like at his first day.
