Q: Slow Context Menu Loading (Right click)

Hi guys,

My problem is, ever startup on my MacBook Pro, the first time I Right Click takes a long time to appears, but only the first time!

Someone nows how to fix?

In the ~/Library/Contextual Menu Items doesnt have anything.

/System/Library/Contextual Menu Items doesnt existe

 

Anybody can hep me?

    Thanks it went well and didn't take too long.  Made sure to backup prior as well.

    Were you ever able to fix the problem? I'm still having the problem and I really don't know what our options are..

    Im still having this issue even after installing Sierra Public Beta the issue still persists.  I did submit a bug report to Apple and was asked to provide more information and a syndiagnose file.

    Hi! I am new in this forum, so i hope it its not a problem, that i use this "old" thread.

     

    I have the following problem with my context menu:


    I start my macbook pro 15" late 2011, open the finder and "right click" any document/movie/song, the spinning wait cursor appears and it takes about 10 seconds until the context menu appears. This problem is just when i first time start my macbook. Or when i change user etc. The next times i right click, everything is normal. I do not know when the problem appeared so i dont know if its a problem concerning a special software...

     

    The macbook is in original condition except the disk. I changed the hdd against a 512 GB Samsung 850 pro.

    I have the same problem since I have installed El Capitan and the Samsung 850 Pro SSD. My specs:

     

      Modellname: MacBook Pro

      Boot-ROM-Version: MBP81.0047.B2C

      SMC-Version (System): 1.68f99

     

    Any news so far? I wonder if only 2012 and earlier released Mac Books have this problem.
