Q: No iPhone 6 bluetooth macbook pro
For a long time, my iPhone6 would easily connect to my macbook pro via audio or visual phone calls (or Face) and I could IM from my computer.
Now, it won't pair so that I can use messaging on my mac rather than the iPhone because I work from home, et cetera.
I feel like I'm missing some sort of crucial step to fix it, but I've run out of ideas, anyone?

None of those things require that you pair your phone to your computer via BT. You do need to have BT turned on on both devices for some things but there is no pairing.
Both devices need to be connected to the same WiFi network. Both devices need to be logged into the same Apple ID. To share messages, go to Settings>Messages>Text Forwarding and make sure that your computer is selected.
