It will not reconnect until I shut off the wi-fi in settings on my phone and turn it back on. My wi-fi signal is very strong with an average download speed of 60 Mbps. I know it is not a wi-fi connection problem or I would have issues with my Macbook Pro. As for the Bluetooth, it will also randomly disconnect and will not reconnect until I turn off and turn back on the Bluetooth in settings.
