Q: I just upgraded the memory in my MacBook Pro following the Apple instructions, and now the computer will not start.

Just in case, make sure the RAM is installed properly.

2) What RAM did you buy? It can make a huge difference. PNY, Corsair, and Kingston's "ValueRAM" are frequently found here as problematic in a modern Mac.
