Q: MacBook Screen wont turn on

MacBook (13-inch Mid 2007)   the computer wouldnt turn on so i went to find some help it told me to take the battery out and plug it in and hold shift control and options and hold power button, after that point it cut on and then went black. I can see the computer power light cuts on at the bottom but the screen itself wont cut on, it goes gray and then nothing afterwards, is it the logic board or something.
