Sep 5, 2016 3:30 PM in response to Janet Groganby sberman,Are you certain your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer (and your Mac)?
Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Perhaps you turned off Wi-Fi on the iPhone.

Sep 6, 2016 2:39 PM in response to sbermanby Janet Grogan,Yes I'm sure they're all on the same network, & had no problems up until yesterday. Wi-fi turned on & showing the correct router address. I've just found that I can't now scan on the printer since my iMac can't find the scanner (it's an all-in-one printer) though it can still find the printer for printing. I'm thinking I haven't got an IOS - iPhone problem, but a dodgy printer. Just off to find the guarantee to see if it's still covered.
Thanks for your reply.

Sep 6, 2016 2:51 PM in response to Janet Groganby sberman,For what it's worth, in case it is the printer at fault (sounds likely), I had HP printers for many years in the LaserJet days. For the past few years, I've used Epson printers and they have worked very well with my Apple gear (Macs and iOS devices). I have no experience with Canon printers.
(I have no financial interest in any of these printer companies).
