Q: Outlook for Mac 2016 Question - Color the Email Backgrounds - No Answer from MS

Can I add background color to an email in outlook 2016 for mac? Like a solid green, or yellow, for example? I can in 2011 using the options tab. Is that available in Outlook 2016 for Mac?

No guidance from MS support and Google turns up nothing .... Maybe some poor soul like me uses MS Outlook 2016 and knows.

I'm still on 2011 (as part of 365) but have a client that pays me a lot of $$$ but is visually impaired and needs a dark background and a red font. Don't want to upgrade until I know the answer.

Any answer - mucho appreciated!

    Hi,

In Outlook 2016 for Mac it is not possible using the option, click on the smiley and send a feedback to Microsoft.

You can do it manual, but it is not perfect.

Select the text then click on text color    ☞   red.

After that click Highlightng color    ☞  black.

Yeah MS just finally contacted me back. Nada. They put in a ticket for a requested upgrade - maybe a year from now, I suspect. Good hint, though and Thanks!
