Q: Mirroring iPad Pro

I Just bought my iPad Pro and I wanted to know if there was a way to mirror my iPad to my Sony smart tv? I don't have AirPlay and don't have a Apple TV, with my lap top I'm able to mirror on to the tv. So I wanted to know if my iPad can mirror on my tv so when I watch my shows online on my iPad  it will show on my tv screen?

iPad Pro, iOS 9.3.5

You have two options, the Apple TV Airplay or a HDMI adapter. Both show the iPad's desktop in 4:3, but switch to full screen for films, e.g. iTunes or Netflix.

I guessed, that you want it wireless, but you only have those two options I mentioned.

If you don't mind using your lap top as some kind of streaming hub, google for Air Server, which lets you airplay the iPad to the laptop, which might then be able to stream that to the TV, but I fear, even if that works, you will loose full screen support for films.

So the best solution is an Apple TV ... Apple wants you to buy that ;-)
