Q: Resetting security questions requires me to answer my original security questions?

I cannot remember the answers to my security questions. Not even one. I made my UK account a few months ago and I only have a faint idea of what they might have been. Now, when I try to reset them, it asks for me to answer one of my previous questions. How can I possibly answer that if I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER ANY ANSWER? I have access to my alternate mail account, and I have access to the email account that I set up my Apple ID with. Now, I kept trying my answer with whatever I remember it might've been. I have 100 pounds credit balance in my account. 100 POUNDS. THAT IS A LOT. If I am not able to purchase anything, is that money wasted? Moreover, if I keep trying to reset it says that there is not enough information to do so at the moment. What do I do?

We are fellow users on these forums, not iTunes Support, there is no need to shout.

If you can't remember your answers to your questions, and if you can't reset them yourself ( If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions) then contact Support in the country where you are (and which is therefore the country on your account) to get the questions reset : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security

If your country isn't on that page then try this form to contact Support : https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

I am sorry, I was just a bit phased at the thought of losing so much money. Since I got the 100 pounds by redeeming a gift card that I purchased, I know that there is no way I can refund it. I did contact Apple, but they told me that I can change my security questions from the manage my account section from appleid.apple.com. But I still need to answer my original security questions to do that. The restriction on my account that did not allow me to reset the questions because "there was not enough information" to do so has fortunately been lifted, but I still need to answer one of my previous questions in order to even move forward. My mistake here is that I always keep indirect answers to my security questions, to ensure that nobody who knows my personal information can't easily answer them. This is extremely ironic right now considering it has backfired on me. But I am totally in the dark right now, and it does not seem that the guys over at Apple support can do something from their end to help me reset the questions, maybe because the answers are encrypted or something like that. I don't know. Have I really lost all that money?

You contacted Support via that link (Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support) ? They will only reset the questions if they can confirm your id and that it's your account
