Q: Can't delete windows partition

Hello everybody,

I installed Windows 8 on a BOOTCAMp partition a while ago and now I want to remove it. The only problem is that i cant. I cant click on the "Remove or install" option in Bootcamp itself(greyed out)  and beside this, I cant remove it via the Disk utility. In the disk utility it says this:

Screen Shot 2016-09-02 at 15.05.56.png

and whenever I try to continue it says this:

Screen Shot 2016-09-02 at 15.05.22.png
Also, it is very strange, but i have 3 partitions instead of 2. One is the macintosh partition, one for bootcamp and then another one with the name Untitled (134Mb) but I cant see this partition in the side bar from diskutility.

So I can see the untitled partition in the partition window:

but not in the sidebar:

I hope someone can help me because im out of options,

thanks in advance!

Do you have a 3TB disk or a Fusion drive? From OSX Terminal, please post the output of

    diskutil list

    diskutil cs list

If you use DU to erase the Bootcamp partition, it is formatted as HFS, which BC Assistant will not touch. In OSX Terminal, please run the following commands and then re-try removing the partition using BC Assistant.

The following commands convert disk0s4 to HFS+, merge disk0s4 and disk0s5 into HFS+, and then convert the resulting disk0s4 back to FAT, because BCA wants FAT32 to remove and merge. If you see any error messages, please stop and post back. Copy (Command+C) all screen output and Paste (Command+V) as a reply.

    diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC1 disk0s4

    diskutil mergePartitions jhfs+ BCMP disk0s4 disk0s5

    diskutil eraseVolume fat32 BOOTCAMP disk0s4

Excellent. Back up OSX, before you attempt the next installation of Windows.
