Q: Not signed in iCloud on my ios device.

Good day guys.

My device is legit and assigned to me by my company.

When I set-up my device, I only signed in to App Store for downloading applications purposes.

I did not signed to iCloud because I might forget my password just like what happened to my personal device...

Now three (3) months, my device has red screen.

ASP Technician that I have to turned off my find my iphone app through iCloud.com.

I told him, unfortunately I did not sign to iCloud on my ios device, only App Store.

Now my problem is, I could not turn off my find my iphone through iCloud simply because I cannot locate my device using iCloud.com.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

What credentials did you use to sign in to the App Store, not your Apple ID?

If you are not signed into iCloud, then Find My iPhone cannot be turned on. You can determine if iCloud is actually signed in by going to Settings>iCloud. If it is signed in, you will see an Apple ID just below iCloud, or on the iCloud Settings screen.

If it is not signed in, then it is impossible for Find My iPhone to be turned on.

    Cheers.

    Hello Zinacef.

I am sure that I use my Apple ID  to App Store because I have to download applications for my device.

As Ken of Apple Inc., he said that although I did not sign in to iCloud on my device, the find my iphone app will be activated automatically.  Now that my device is not functioning, I could not locate my device using find my iphone through iCloud.com website.

What you were told is incorrect. Find My iPhone and Activation Lock on a specific device can only be activated if you are signed into iCloud. It is an "on/off" switch that automatically gets turned on when you sign into iCloud on your device, but that's the only thing that is automatic about it.....

No iCloud account that is signed in - no Find My iPhone.

If the device isn't showing up under the Find My iPhone app in iCloud.com, then it is not enabled on the device.

    Cheers,

Yes, Find my iPhone was not enabled on my device because I did not sign in to iCloud using it.

Actually, I am hoping I could find email address of Apple so that I could send credentials, documents, to prove to them that the device is mine, issued by my company.

Then they can replace my phone, it is up to them how to do magic on my device.
