Q: Why can't my iPad deposit checks anymore?
I have two mobile banking apps on my iPad Mini MD528LL/A - Ally and Schwab - and I used to be able to deposit checks on both of them. But since last month, they've given me error messages along the lines of "the system is temporarily unavailable" every single time. This happens after I follow all the instructions for depositing checks and hit 'submit.' I have the latest version of both apps.
I was able to deposit the checks on my sister's iPhone through her Schwab app, so it seems to be a problem of my iPad. I've since upgraded to the latest version (9.3.5) and still experience the same problems.
Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix this? What should I do? Would the local apple store be able to help me?
These banks don't have local branches, so my only other alternative is to mail in the checks. Very frustrating. Thanks for your time!
