Q: screen and keyboard doesn't turn on after sleep-mode
I just got a brand new Mac Mini (ultimo 2014) running OS X El Capitan (10.11.6).
I got a regular Apple keyboard (not bluetooth) and a brand new NEC MultiSync EA244WMi screen. Also, a regular Logitech mouse (not bluetooth).
When I turn on the computer + screen, it works like a dream.
BUT if I leave the computer and it goes into sleep mode, I cannot get the mouse, keyboard or screen to work. Sometimes (5 in 10) the mouse "wakes up the screen", but the keyboard doesn't - and I can't enter my password, the screen turns off again, and so on ...
The problem was there from the beginning, so it's not something that happened along the way...
I have tried changing the usb port, but it doesn't make a difference.
Help... ?

Have you tried:
If your Mac doesn't sleep or wake when expected - Apple Support
Also, if you purchased it within 90 days (your post implies it is very new) you can call Apple since yo have 90 days of free telephone support.
