Sep 7, 2016 1:46 PM in response to datsweetkiddby AntonyFromWatertown,I hope the charging dock will have a DC powered option so I can listen to my phone in my car through the line-in jack on my car stereo while charging. Do not tell me that I will have to buy a new car or a bluetooth stereo...

Sep 7, 2016 8:01 PM in response to Phil0124by Laserdoc49,Not sure the dock is gonna work when I'm off road in the Colorado mountains. iPhone 7 creates problems that have already been solved.

Sep 7, 2016 8:37 PM in response to Laserdoc49by zerners,I want to know this too. Having to carry a dock with you would be ridiculous and will not be stable to use in a car. I also use cable to auxiliary port in my car. I hope there will be some sort of cable that will split off that will allow you to both charge and use audio through one cable. This cable should also be included with the phone. I always considered Apple smart, so I hope they took this into consideration already and will have something like this.

Sep 8, 2016 3:15 PM in response to aonangby zerners,After doing some research, because I want to know this as well, I found these options. I'm still surprised Apple didn't come out with something, but it is still a better option than using a silly docking station in the car for your phone, since it is going to be bouncing everywhere.
Give it time and I believe someone will come out with a more direct cable that will split off from the lightening to a charging and audio cable. They have this for the old Apple connector, but didn't see anything for the lightening connector. However, the below options should work. There were more things I found, but these seemed to be the more realistic options.
They are all the same concept and there are other brands as well. I like these type of options as it is going directly into your auxiliary jack. There were others that did this same concept, but instead of going to your auxiliary jack they transmitted via an FM channel, which I think could cause issues and not be as good quality as using Bluetooth to auxiliary.
I hope this helps.
