Q: HDSP 9652

What the best mac to instal my RME Hammerfall  HDSP 9652 ,superb PCI cards with very low latencey and lovely sounding converters ?

Mac Pro, iOS 8.4

    PCI slots, and PCI-x (PCI card-compatible) have not been offered in current Macs for many years. I think you would need a now very old PowerPC G4 or G5.

     

    The silver tower Mac Pro models feature PCI-e card slots, which are not backward-compatible to PCI cards.
