Q: activity auto pause

iWatch Activity - please confirm there is no auto-pause feature.  Whatever the activity I have to manually select pause and remember to restart each time.  Some competing products have an auto-pause that implements a temporary halt in the program when dropping below a certain threshold.  For instance, while cycling or running, stopping or going less than 2 mph.

 

Is this a future update?

At present, it is normal to have to pause or end workouts manually.

 

Under watchOS 3, the software update that is due to be released on 13 September, the Workout app can automatically pause and resume running workouts as appropriate.
