Q: How to copy and paste photos from photo

Need some photos from my I mac to E-mail  can you copy and paste the selected photos to the e-mail?

VIN,iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

    you can but it is better to us teh media browser (in the email attach window toward the bottom of the source pane on the left under media==> photos ==> Photos

     

    or to export (file menu ==> export) from Photos to a desktop folder and usefrom there

    You can also mail directly from Photos using the Share menu. Select the photos, then click the Share button in the toolbar or use "File > Share > Mail".

    This will open a new Mail window with the selected photos attached.

     

    Copy and Paste will work with the Mail.app in El Capitan, but not necessarily with other mail clients, for example Outlook.
