hi,
is it possible to charge the apple pencil from an wall outlet via the ipad pro charging cable?
thx in advance,
rob
Yes, in the box the pencil arrived in should have been a female-to-female adapter that goes into the pencil's lightening male pin-out. That allows you to then plug in the cable from an iPhone or iPad power supply.

Feb 14, 2016 8:13 AM in response to Michael Blackby rob_gester,yeah, the delivered connector was the reason i've asked, because all i was able to read was about charging from ipad pro directly, not a single word about the wall outlet. the iphone charger cable for the pencil was also new to me.
many thanks for your answer.

Sep 7, 2016 12:42 PM in response to Michael Blackby TONYNV,This adapter will loose pin tolerance after about 10 charges. Apple needs to make good on this defect. I posted this complaint on another posted question under the pencil heading. I'm not a happy camper.

Mine has been fine for countless charges now. It's covered under the one year warranty so why not take it in to an Apple Store and get a replacement?
