Q: Can't see all iPhone photos on computer

you can only imports pics in your camera roll... ie taken photos, screenshots, save from text etc.

Maybe my question was not clear. When I go to my camera roll in my iPhone, I see for example 1000 pictures there. However, when I connect the phone to my Mac and go to Photos app or Image Capture app, I see only 850 pictures. Where is the rest? Is there anything I'm missing?
