Q: I use the iPhone jack to plug in to my pickup mics so I can tune my harp. So how am I supposed to tune my harp now?  I am going to buy a Samsung phone when my iPhone gets outdate or dies. Thanks, Apple.  You really thought ahead on this.

I use the iPhone jack to plug an adapter into my pickup mics to tune my harp. So how am I going to do this without a jack. Thanks, Apple. You really thought this one through...I will be changing phones next time to Samsung.   PS/ The iPad is not nearly as accurate as an iPhone for tuning instruments.

The iPhone 7 comes with a lightning to 3.5mm audio jack adapter.

 

Whatever you plugged in before you can continue to plug in, except the jack is now external.
