Q: Can I install OSX El Capitan with 1.6 Processor and 2GB Memory?

Can I up grade to OSX El Capitan with Macbook air OSX 10.7.5.; Processor 1.6; and 2GB memory?

    It’s impossible to say from that information. Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, and click on More Info; the model identifier needs to be at least MacBookAir2,1 for it to be compatible.

    While Apple says that a Mac with 2 GB of RAM is sufficient to run El Capitan that is true as long as you don't want to run anything in addition to El Capitan like maybe doing anything with your Mac. In order to run any other apps more RAM is required.
