    iPhoto went away with Yosemite. I presume you are referring to iPhoto for OS X?

     

    Photos has been the new App for a couple of years now.

    When the iOS for devices is upgraded, the later version

    no longer supports iPhoto, instead there is Photos app.

    Same with OS X, their newer systems also displaced an

    older iPhoto and included Photos for Mac, by default.

     

    This happened some time ago, but if you hadn't upgrade

    to a later system for awhile, it may come as a surprise.

    Not sure if the OP was referring to iPhoto for OS X or iPhoto for iOS since the article that this thread was linked from is about iPhoto for OS X, and the forum it was posted under was iPhoto for iOS. Since the listed component at the bottom of the page was a Mac, I went with the OS X one....
