Q: Constantly Locked Out without Any Changes

I have iTunes on my work Mac and on my home PC. I've recently purchased a MacBook Pro and now have an Apple ID login for that. They are ALL the same login information, they were all listed on my account devices. I login to iTunes at work... listen all day... go home... come back to work and it says my Apple account has been locked for safety reasons. This has happened to me about 10 times in the last 30 days... changing the password each time. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?! It is driving me crazy.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), Happens on all devices

Thanks. I called them and I followed the suggestions of the person I talked to and that didn't work. I'll try and call again and talk to someone else.

Did you get this solved? This has been happening to me for the last week. Constantly getting locked out for no reason and having to change password every day

I have had the same issue for several months...but I believe I accidentally found my issue just now.

    - I have called Apple with no help

    - changed passwords, user names

    - wiped out devices and so on

    None of this worked.

I have MacBook Pro, and iPad2 Air for Apple devices

I have Galaxy s7 Edge for phone and Windows PC

Now I went 2 weeks with no issues as I deleted all my apple stuff off PC and phone as I was tired of it asking to enter password. Once everything was deleted I didn't even notice until yesterday things were stable. So today I entered my Apple (me.com account) back onto my Galaxy (Blue Mail app) and poof Password failed x hours later and had it locked out and needed to reset.

If you happen to have an Android device in the loop this may be the issue as it may be out of sync with Apple and causing it to provide incorrect info and causing it to lock. Just a WAG, but I am pretty sure this is the issue with mine. I have deleted all iOS account info off my PC and phone so I am going to see if it survives a month or two and call it fixed.

Just putting it out there in case it is the fix and same sort of configuration on your end.
