Q: Synching 2 Calibre libraries between 2 Macs

I am trying to figure out to sync the Calibre libraries I have, one on my MacBook Air and one on my Mac Pro.

I have been manually copying the libraries to the iCloud and merging them, but this is tiring.

Can I do a final merge of both libraries with the copy in my iCloud, and then direct Calibre to access that library when it opens on either computer??

Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Why not place the libraries onto a hard drive or computer, then upload them to iCloud from there?

They are already on a hard drive! One is on my MacBook Air and the other is on my Mac Pro. I want to be able to synch them automatically, without having to do it manually.

Why are you syncing them manually? Aren't you uploading them to iCloud?

Because the original libraries are on two computers on their flash drives. I want to have the SAME library for both applications on each computer. I guess I need help from someone who is familiar with both Apple's iCloud and the Calibre program/app.

Then I would have two separate libraries in the iCloud. I want ONE, the SAME library for each Calibre application one my two computers. Thanks for trying though.

I can't how you'll have "two separate libraries in iCloud" but I tried.

You may want to consider reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance with this issue (link at bottom of the page).
