my iPhone 5s constantly says 'searching...' in the top left corner.
i have tried restarting, resetting the network settings and removing the sim, nothing has worked
it is also not letting me update my phone.
i didn't drop it or anything.
iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.4

Try a reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see apple logo .
