Sep 7, 2016 5:39 PM in response to fly1nKiwiby David Bogie Chq-1,VVideo is a series of frAmes. The frames are not adjustable. It's like youhave purchased film that someone has shot. It is what it is. Animation, however, is a set of parameters that are, adjustable by the user. Those are usually Motion templates. There are FCPX clips, that have adjustable animation parameters. You need to talk to the supplier to see how they have set up their files.

Sep 8, 2016 2:06 AM in response to fly1nKiwiby Luis Sequeira1,I believe there is a misunderstanding about the meaning of "edit" here. Sure you can edit - select parts of the video, put then on a project, apply effects, etc.
But you seemed to expect to have editable *parameters* - as in modify some text that appeared in the video, etc.
For that, you would not have an mp4 but a Motion template, as David said.
