Q: Trying to upload my movie in parts

Hi all .

I've created a movie , a half hr interview actually. I have exported it as a quicktime file, but I want to upload it to YouTube in 10 minute sections, so the video has a part 1,2 and a 3. I can split the clip in quick time, but that doesn't seem to let me save each smaller clip as a seperate file.

Is there any simpler way in FCP that I can split it up as individual files?

MMark in and out points in the timeline and export each 10 minute segment sequentially.

Thanks man. But sorry, in and out points, you mean using the marker tool? Should I be able to the export straight away...Cause that process is not working right now , I  don't think I'm 'marking' in and out points correctly. Sorry dude, still confused....

AT the beginning of the project you press I to mark the start of the section. You go to where the section ends and press O to mark the end of the range. You export. You will only export that section. Repeat. You don't have to wait for the first to finish. Mark the second section and export. Mark the third section and export. They will be processed sequentially.
