Q: Public Beta 8 to GM - iOS 10

I deleted my public beta profile for iOS 10 and went to re-install and now I can't... am I missing something or is it now locked out and I'm stuck on Public Beta 8?

At some point close to the public release, yes the beta programs typically lock down. Since you deleted your profile, you will have to wait for the public release and update then. Later, you can always join the next public beta program when it opens up.

On a similar note...
I am registered on the iOS 10 Public Beta programme, however the iOS 10 GM version of the update is not showing in Software Update, despite receiving an email from Apple saying I could go ahead and download the GM version.

Is anyone able to advise?
